A Preferred Choice For Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy:The Double-port Access Laparoscopic

Objectives:This research aims at studying and investigating the feasibility,safety and advantages of double-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy in com-parison with the three-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy in their clinical ef-fect.Methods:The documents of 201 patients were reviewed.These patients were admitted into the Second Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery of the Second Affi-liated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2015 to December 2016,and 100 of them underwent the double-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy(the observation group),whereas the other 101 underwent thethree-port access laparos-copic cholecystectomy(the control group).With retrospective case-control study,the two groups were contrasted in their operating time,estimated blood loss,length of strict bed rest,the flatus time,postoperative fasting period,the incision painscores of visual analogue scale(VAS)24 hours after surgery,postoperative length of stay and patient satisfaction etc....The data was processed with standard statistical software SPSS22.0.Results:There were no significant differences in the operating time(92.67± 12.37min VS 95.14±21.29min,p-=0.317),estimatecd blood loss(11.90±3.07ml VS 11.98±3.01 ml,p=0.852),length of strict bed rest(20.75±1.37VS20.67±2.00,p=0.751),the flatus time(18.22±2.04hVS18.25±2.01h,p=0.896),postoperative fasting period(19.22±2.04hVS19.25±2.01h,p=0.896),the incision painscores of visual analogue scale(VAS)24hours after sur-gery(1.34±0.48VS1.42 ±0.50,p=0.270)patient,and postoperative length of stay(2.63±0.97d VS2.67±0.98d)etc.But the clinical efficacy of the double-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy was more valid than the three-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy in regards to the patients’ satisfaction(4.47±0.50 VS4.69±0.46,p=0.002).Conclusions:Compared with three-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy,the double-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy is equally safe,effective,and feasible causing little trauma,as it ameliorates the postoperative patient satisfaction.Therefore,the double-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy should be promoted and applied exten-sively.
