Objectives: By studying the parathyroid lymphatic related markers,it is to discuss the mechanism of nano carbon parathyroid gland ”negative development" in the thyroidectomy, and whether parathyroid gland malignant tumors have had new lymphatic vessels and the relationship between the occurrence and development of tumor.Methods: Selecting thyroidectomy was accidentally resection of normal parathyroid tissue paraffin block 45 cases, surgical resection for parathyroid itself pathological changes of parathyroid tissue paraffin block 17 cases, including 10 cases of parathyroid adenoma and 7 cases of parathyroid carcinoma.The normal thyroid tissue as positive control, selecting the lymphatic specific markers D2-40,LYVE-1 and vascular specific marker CD31, CD34 immunohistochemical staining,so that contrast to distinguish from each other.Results: In the normal parathyroid tissues and pathological changes parathyroid tissues, the vascular lumen structures of endothelial cells basically show CD34 positive and the vast majority of CD31 positive, but a few parathyroids only individual or several vascular lumen structures of endothelial cells showed D2-40 positive, the rest of the vascular lumen structures are all negative; A single or few vascular lumen structures of parathyroid cells showed LYVE-1 positive, in addition.LYVE-1 in thyroid follicular cavity glial protein positive expression and vascular lumen of red blood cell positive expression, expression of the other structures were negative.Conclusions: 1. Most of the adult parathyroid glands may lack lymphatic network,only a small number of parathyroid glands have minority lymph vessels.;2. When thyroid parenchyma is injected nano carbon suspension, the parathyroid can be "negative development". There is no lymphatic vessel in most parathyroid tissue,there are only a few lymphatic vessels in small part parathyroid tissues.and genenally localize in the membrane area or vessel area, which can be one of the main anatomical mechanisms. resulting in carbon nano drainage failure or obstruction, thus parathyroid"negative development".3. The probability of the presence of parathyroid lymphatic vessels was unrelated to sex and type of parathyroid gland,because of the limited number of studies in each age group, no age related literature was found;but may be related to the malignancy of parathyroid, and the incidence of malignancy is higher, however the number of lymphatic vessels is not significantly different from that of normal parathyroid adenoma and parathyroid adenoma.
