Objective: comparative study of nano carbon suspension's negative images effect for parathyroid protection in operation of thyroid cancer patients is conducted and through the observation of the lymphatic black staining and the results of pathological examination in order to further verify the application value of nano carbon particles as a negative images tracer in clinical aspects,which could help reduce the negative impair against parathyroid after thyroid carcinoma patient's surgery and improve patient's post-surgery life quality.Methods: collect thyroid cancer patients' data in the thyroid and breast surgery department of our hospital from September 2014 to December2016,30 of which have nano-carbon suspension applied during their surgery,while 30 of which have not.The first 30 used multi-point injection of nano carbon particles suspension to develop thyroid gland and its surrounding lymph nodes,while the other 30 only applied regular surgery.The following data are extracted and analyzed between these two groups: surgery time,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative hospital stay,the number of patients with normal,low parathyroid hormone and low calcium,the number of lymph nodes clearance,whether there is node metastasis.Results:(1)There is no statistical difference between two groups of patients at gender,age,preoperative PTH level,which means that two groups of data were comparable(P>0.05).(2)Results about operation time,intraoperative bleeding status and postoperative hospital stay are:Operation time: regular group:162.30±14.55min;nano carbon suspension group: 173.12±20.07min;There was statistical difference(P < 0.05);Intraoperative bleeding status: regular group: 22.08±9.06ml;nano carbon suspension group: 21.72±8.52ml;Postoperative hospital stay: regular group: 5.50±0.91 days nano carbon suspension group: 5.92±0.82days;There was no significant difference between the two groups in these three aspects(P>0.05).(3): Results about the number of lymph node clearance,and lymph node metastasis:In the nano carbon suspension group,The number of lymph clearance in the first group is 219,and 7.63±1.54 on average per patient;while the total number in the regular group is 192,and 6.52±1.22 on average.And it's very clear that the first group has more number cleared than the second one,obvious statistical difference is thus observed(P<0.05);The lymph node metastasis ratio in the first group is 20% while the second one is 10%,which means that two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).(4)Results of postoperative hypocalcemia symptoms and temporary serum PTH decrease status: 6 patients have postoperative hypocalcemia symptom in the first group,which the number is 0 in the second group,the two groups had statistical difference(P<0.05);The conventional surgery group of patients within 3 days after the hemorrhage transient hypocalcemia in 8 cases,and the nanometer carbon group was 1 cases,the two groups had significant difference(P<0.05).5 patients in the first group have PTH decrease,while the number is 1 in the second group,no obvious statistical difference(P>0.05);Conclusions: 1.It's safe to use nano carbon suspension in thyroid cancer surgery;2.Bleeding status and postoperative hospital stay would not be impacted if nano carbon suspension is applied in thyroid cancer surgery;3.The number of lymph clearance in the thyroid cancer surgery can be increased by using nano carbon suspension;4.Nano carbon suspension's presence in thyroid cancer surgery can help protect parathyroid gland accordingly.
