| Objectives:To explore the expression of human epididymal protein 4 in the semen of patients after anastomosis at different time ,and the significance of its expression and the function mechanism. Methods: Follow-up the patients who was diagnosed as obstructive azoospermia in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University during December 2015 to January 2017.The patients’ semen at 3 month(10 cases), 6 months (7 cases), 12 months(8 cases) were collected undergone vasoepididymostomy or vasovasostomy as experimental group.8 cases of semen samples of normal was control group .The HE4 of the patients undergone procedure whose spouses were conception successfully and not conception were compared.Results:1. The human HE4 the quantity of express in the semen of the patients who had been treated by the anastomosis after 3 months (p=0.01) and 6 months (p=0.03),compared with normal volunteers, was statistical significance, the patients after undergone the procedure 12 months, compared with normal volunteers,p>0.05, date was not statistical significance.2. Patients with normal semen parameters but had not be pregnant after the operation compared with normal volunteers,p>0.05, it was not statistical significance.Conclusion(s):1. As the post-operative time goes on, the human HE4 the quantity of express in the semen of patients would be decreased gradually ,which indicated that the improvement of semen quality might be related to the down-regulation of HE4 after the re-eanalization of genital tract obstruction;2. With normal semen parameters, HE4 does not effect the pregnancy of the patient’s spouse. |
