The Effect And Significance Of Longitudinal Single Stuture Intussusception Microsurgical Vasoepididymostomy For The Treatment Of Obstructive Azoospermia

Objective:Analyzing and counting the effects of microsurgical longitudinal single stuture intussusception vasoepididymostomy in the therapy of epididymal obstructive azoospermia.Then comparing the different outcomes of unilateral and bilateral vasoepididymostomy,we want to discuss the signifucance of the treatment effect of longitudinal single stuture intussusception microsurgical vasoepididymostomy.Method:Of all the male infertile patients that were treated in our hospital from January2014 to October 2017,we screened out 62 cases of azoospermia diagnosed as epididymal obstruction and performed longitudinal single stuture intussusception microsurgical vasoepididymostomy in them.We followed up the semen quality,patency rate,and pregnancy rate of their spouses after the operation.Among the 62patients,28 cases were underwent unilateral vasoepididymostomy(group A),the other34 cases received bilateral vasoepididymostomy(group B).Any seminal analysis contains dynamic spermatozoa means patency.Defining the spouses'pregnancy as the end point of our study.Chi-square analysis of the SPSS 21.0 was used to compared the different treatment outcomes of group A and group B.Result:Among the 62 patients that we followed-up,motile sperm were achieved in 43patients(69.4%),spontaneous pregnancies were found in 23 patients(41.9%).The patency rate of group A was 53.6%(15/28)and group B was 82.4%(28/34),there were prominent differences between two groups(?~2=5.985,P=0.014).Pregnancy rate of their spouses of group A was 17.9%(5/28),group B was 52.9%(18/34),there were prominent differences between two groups(?~2=8.099,P=0.004).Conclusion:Through the clinical trial,we believe that the longitudinal single stuture intussusception microsurgical vasoepididymostomy is feasible and safe as for the treatment of epididymal obstructive azoospermia.It can provide a satisfying patency rate and pregnancy rate of their spouses.And the bilateral vasoepididymostomy has a better effect than the unilateral vasoepididymostomy,this outcome can be used as a reference for the formulation of surgical procedures in clinical treatment.
