Digital Orthopedics science is a new interdisciplinary subject combines clinical orthopedics with computer technology closely,and includes virtual surgery simulation,visualization and virtual reality,finite element analysis technology in orthopedics,3D printing technology.etc.It is widely used in the orthopedics treatment,has great applicational prospect and significance.This article mainly studies three aspects of it.1,The accuracy of the 3D printing bone model was studied.From the skeleton of the DICOM medical digital image to the 3D printing bone model,the main causes of errors are the scanning interval,fitting parameters,material accumulation of printing thickness,material performance and so on.The results of analysis show that the reduction of CT scanning interval can improve the precision of the three dimensional reconstruction model;while the three-dimensional reconstruction in Mimics,the selection of the fitting parameters will also affect the accuracy of three dimensional reconstruction model;The 3D printing technology has a great influence on the skeletal 3D printing model.Different materials have different effects on the accuracy,and the suitable processing technology should be chosen according to the use of the skeleton 3D printing model.2,The application of Virtual Reality and 3D Printing in fracture adjuvant therapy was studied.The three dimensional reconstruction of Pilon fractures was reconstructed by CT data,the DICOM medical image.The three dimensional model of the fracture fragments was established by careful editing of each layer mask and processed to obtain high-quality three dimensional model.(1)In the Virtual Reality System,the three dimensional model of each fracture is used to complete the preoperative simulation;(2)To process the three dimensional reconstruction model with the method of 3D printing.And the 3D printing model is used for preoperative planning.By preoperative planning,the surgeon can intuitively observe the surgical site,and can plan surgical procedures for the treatment in advance to provide a reliable basis.Preoperative planning has important reference value,especially in the selection of appropriate surgical approach and fracture-set plate.Compared with the Virtual Reality System for preoperative planning,3D printing model for preoperative planning is more convenient and intuitive.3,The mechanical properties of interbody fusion material in the human spine-interbody fusion screw and rod system were studied.To establish the finite element model of the human spine-interbody fusion screw and rod system,in which the interbody fusion materials of the finite element model were autologous granular bone,PEEK interbody fusion cage,blank,Analyze the stress distribution of the PEEK interbody fusion cage and the autogenous granular bone,and compared with the normal human spine,validation of the mechanical property of autogenous granular bone is similar to and mechanical properties of PEEK interbody fusion cage when human body is standing.Autologous granular bone can serve as an effective mechanical support when using autogenous granular bone as intervertebral fusion in the posterior lumbar spine surgery.
