The health of vision is very important to people's study,work and life.At present,there are a large number of amblyopia patients in our country.How to improve the effect of amblyopia treatment has attracted more and more attention.The traditional treatment of amblyopia is usually to cover the dominant eye,so as to make the amblyopic eye to get more visual stimulation and develop potential vision of patients to obtain treatment effects.However,the patient's compliance being not high and binocular vision not being exercised well have been the major problem in the treatment.Secondly,most of the traditional treatment equipment uses PC to train patients and the distance between the patient and the screen could not be controlled well.The training process is easily affected by other factors.The cost of training equipment is high and the portability is poor.These all have a certain impact on the treatment.With the rapid development of information technology,more and more virtual reality technology is used in all walks of life.Virtual reality system opens up a new way of training for the treatment of amblyopia patients with its three unique characteristics of immersion,interaction and imagination,which not only follows the principle of traditional treatment,but also overcomes its shortcomings and deficiencies.In this paper,a virtual reality dichoptic training system based on perceptual learning is proposed.The training content is designed according to the theory of perceptual learning and virtual reality technology is used as the realization way,which presents the contents of the screen to different eyes so that patients are trained with binocular separation.It exercises the binocular visual function of patients while improving the visual acuity of patients.The system presents training contents to patients with smart phones and the VR glasses box.In the process of training,not only the external interference is eliminated,but also the portability and the universality of users are improved.The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)To analyze the present situation of the research on the training principle and training equipment of amblyopia training system at home and abroad,combine perceptual learning theory with virtual reality technology and propose visual reality dichoptic training system based on perceptual learning.(2)To design the structural framing of the hardware and software of the system and select appropriate hardware and software equipment according to the training principle of the system and the needs of the patients.(3)To realize virtual reality dichoptic training system based on perceptual learning and carry out check analysis of the effect of the system.In this paper,a virtual reality training system for amblyopia patients is designed and realized.Patients could carry out binocular separation training.Novel and interesting interactive training method improves patient compliance and portable training equipment provides convenience for patients.This study provides a feasible scheme for the application of virtual reality technology in the treatment of amblyopia.
