Studies On The Chemical Constituents Of Croton Laevigatus And Aspergillus Flavus

The Croton L.is a genus of the family Euphorbiaceae and many for trees or shrubs,rare herbs.About 800 species are mainly distributed dintropic or subtropics.In China,there are 21 species mainly grows in southwest and southeast provinces of China.Most of these plantsare toxic,and have been used in the treatment the stomach swelling in Chinese folklore medicine.Plants of the the genus Croton L.are rich sources of structurally diverse and biologically significant diterpenes,which has antitumor,anti-HIV,antibiotic,antioxidant,anti-inflammat or yanalgesic,and hypoglycemi cactivities.The chemical constituents and bioactivities have little been reported of Croton laevigatus.Aspergillus fungi are one of the most common saprophytic bacteria in nature.Aspergillus can produce a large number of spores and have a variety of biochemical activities.They are suitable for high temperature or high osmotic pressure,so they can grow in different environments.Many secondary metabolites of Aspergillus have antibiotic activity.Aspergillus flavus belongs to the fungus of Aspergillus.Aflatoxin is also a good antifungal compound.In order to explore more medical potential plants of Croton laevigatus and Aspergillus flavus,and to exploit new resources of Chinese traditional medicine,the chemical constituents of these have been studied.The chemical constituents of 36 compounds were isolated by means of silica gel,MCI gel columm chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 gel columm chromatography,preparative thin layer chromatography and Solid-liquid extractionetc.The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of modern spectroscopic methods,including EI-MS,HRESIMS,1D NMR(1H NMR,13 C NMR,DEPT),2D NMR(1H-1H COSY,HMBC,HSQC,NOESY),the CD exciton chirality method,and comparison with authentic samples or the data from literature,and there was 1 new compound from Croton laevigatus.At the end of this paper,the compositions and activities of Croton L.were reviewed.
