Objective To define the effect of PMP(platelet-derived microparticle)in thrombosis in atrial fibrillation through observing the change in number of PMP in plasma in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation;and to investigate the correlation between PMP and Hs-CRP through observing the changes in serum Hs-CRP level in patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods A total of 109 patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation were selected as the research group(including 66 males and 43 females aged 68.53±10.41 years on average)using case-control study, while 44 patients with sinus rhythm were selected as the control group(including 23 males and 21 females aged 67.11±7.88 years on average).According to CHADS2 stroke risk score criteria, patients with atrial fibrillation in this study were divided into 2 subgroups: low moderate-risk group and high-risk group;and according to the types of atrial fibrillation, patients with atrial fibrillation were divided into 3 subgroups: permanent atrial fibrillation, persistent atrial fibrillation and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. The number of PMP in plasma was detected using flow cytometry, serum Hs-CRP,NT-proBNP,D-D,FIB and LAD,LVEF and other indexes in cardiac color ultrasound were collected and recorded, and the correlation between PMP and clinical indexes was also analyzed.Results(1)Compared with those in control group, the levels of PMP,Hs-CRP,NT-proBNP,DD and FIB in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation were increased,LAD was also increased, but LVEF was deceased;the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)Compared with those in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, the levels of PMP,Hs-CRP,NT-ProBNP and FIB in patients with permanent atrial fibrillation were increased,LAD was also increased, but LVEF was decreased.Compared with those in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation, the levels of Hs-CRP and FIB were increased;the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Compared with those in CHADS2 low moderate-risk group, the levels of PMP,Hs-CRP,NT-ProBNP,D-D and FIB in CHADS2 high-risk group were increased;the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)There was a positive correlation between plasma PMP expression level in patients with atrial fibrillation and Hs-CRP(r=0.020,P=0.019),PMP=4.543+0.092Hs-CRP? Conclusion:(1)PMP level in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation was increased, and the number of PMP was increased with the prolonged duration of atrial fibrillation and higher risk of stroke, suggesting that PMP may be involved in the physiological and pathological process of thrombosis in atrial fibrillation and promote the thrombosis.(2)There was a positive correlation between PMP and inflammatory factor Hs-CRP,suggesting that there is an interaction between PMP and Hs-CRP,and PMP may further promote the thrombosis through pro-inflammatory response.
