Objective:By observing the levels of serum high-sensitivity c-reactive protein ?interleukin-6,vascular endothelial growth factor in different types of non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients and sinus rhythm patients,study their correlation with left atrial diameter,and further explore the role and clinical significance of inflammation in the occurrence,development and maintenance of atrial fibrillation,providing a reference for the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation and improving the prognosis of patients with atrial fibrillation.Method:This study selected patients with paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation admitted to our Department of Cardiology from January 2019 to October 2019.Patients with sinus rhythm confirmed by electrocardiogram or 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiogram were selected as subjects.Serum levels of Hs-CRP,IL-6 and VEGF were measured,LAD was measured,and SPSS22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the relationship between each factor and atrial fibrillation and left atrial diameter.The experimental group was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation according to medical history,electrocardiogram or 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiogram.There were 29 patients with persistent atrial fibrillation and 30 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.Twenty-five patients with sinus rhythm who were hospitalized in our hospital were selected as the control group.All subjects underwent ultrasonic cardiograph for the left atrial diameter within 24 hours of admission.Peripheral venous blood was taken on an empty stomach in the morning on the second day of admission.The levels of serum Hs-CRP ? IL-6 and VEGF were respectively measured and the levels of these indicators in different groups were analyzed,as well as the correlation with left atrial diameter.Results:1.General clinical data:the general clinical data were not statistically significant.2.The levels of Hs-CRP,IL-6and LAD in theexperimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was significant.The levels of Hs-CRP in the persistent atrial fibrillation group were higher than those in the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group,and the difference was not statistically significant.The levels of IL-6 and LAD in the persistent atrial fibrillation group were higher than those in the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group,and the difference was significant.The plasma levels of VEGF were not significantly different among the control group,the persistent atrial fibrillation group and the persistent atrial fibrillation group.3.LAD was positively correlated with Hs-CRP and IL-6,the difference was statistically significant.There was no significant correlation between LAD and VEGF.4.Atrial fibrillation type was taken as the dependent variable.Age,gender,diabetes,hypertension,coronary heart disease,cardiac function grade and body mass index were used as control variables.Hs-CRP,IL-6,LAD and VEGF were taken as independent variables,and multivariate logistic regression was used for multivariate analysis.Logistic regression results of the persistent atrial fibrillation group and the control group showed that among the four indicators of Hs-CRP,IL-6,LAD and VEGF,the three indicators of Hs-CRP,IL-6 and LAD in the persistent atrial fibrillation group were significantly greater than those in the control group,these three indicators had significantly positive effects on atrial fibrillation.Logistic regression results showed that Hs-CRP,IL-6 and LAD were also significantly higher in the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group than those in the control group,which also indicated that these three indicators had significantly positive effects on atrial fibrillation.Logistic regression results of the persistent atrial fibrillation group and the control group,as well as the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group and the control group showed that VEGF had no significant effects on atrial fibrillation.Conclusion:1.It suggests that inflammation plays an important role in the occurrence,development and maintenance of atrial fibrillation.It suggests that atrial fibrillation may promote left atrial remodeling.2.It suggests that the inflammatory reaction participates in the process of atrial remodeling,and atrial remodeling further promotes the occurrence and development of inflammatory response,both of which play an important role in theoccurrence,development and maintenance of atrial fibrillation.3.Hs-CRP,IL-6 and LAD levels are independent factors and predictors of atrial fibrillation.
