Acute Preoperative Plateletpheresis For Total Arch Replacement

Objective To evaluate the effective of autologous platelet separation technology in cardiac surgery.Methods We retrospectively analyzed 129 patients who accepted cardiac surgery in January 2015 to February 2017,in the affiliated hospital of Qingdao university.22 are female and 104 are male,with age arranged from 26 to 76 years,with an mean age(53.72±10.99)years.There're 51 patients accepted autologous platelet separation technique while others only accept washed autologous blood transfusion tech.Comparing with operation time and intraoperative blood loss and Postoperative drainage of the two groups.Result 5 people dead(mortality rate 4.6%)and 3 patients automatic discharge in the aprp group,13 case dead in non aprp group(the mortality rate 20.6%),and 5 automatic discharge.In all,106 eligible patients were identified.By analysis of the two groups of cases,the autologous platelet separation technology will not significantly increase blood loss and operation time,but can obviously reduce the early postoperative blood transfusion and the Blood products cost as well as the In-hospital mortality.Conclusion Autologous platelet separation technology can significantly decrease patients' early postoperative blood transfusion and the Blood products cost.However it will not significantly increase patients' intraoperative bleeding and operation time.besides,it will significantly reduce patients' in-hospital mortality.
