ObjectiveTo test how differently interleukin-8(IL-8),beta defensin-118(DEFB118)would express in ovarian serous tumors(serous cystadenoma,borderline serous cystadenoma,serous cystadenocarcinoma)tissues,while analyzing the nexus of the two types of proteins in ovarian serous adenocystic carcinoma and its clinical pathological features(FIGO staging,histological grade,lymph node metastasis,peritoneal metastasis),along with the correlation of two proteins in cancer tissues,in order to study the function of IL-8 and DEFB118 to ovarian serous malignant tumors,and its role towards development and defense,to provide a theoretical basis for the pathogenesis ovarian cancer,clinical diagnosis,therapeutic target,also provides new ideas in the early diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer,which can provide great social benifits to our society and family.MethodsIn this article I will be taking immunohistochemical methods to detect how IL-8 and DEFB118 will present respectively in 46 cases of ovarian serous cystadenoma,32 cases of ovarian borderline serous cystadenoma,60 cases of serous ovarian carcinoma tissues,and to investigate the relationship between the expression of IL-8,DEFB118 and ovarian serous tumors FIGO,organization relationship between histological grade,lymph node metastasis and peritoneal metastasis,meanwhile the relevant expression of IL-8 and DEFB118 in serous ovarian cancers.Results1.The positive expression rate of IL-8 in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma in the group was 78.33%.As we can see,it is higher than the group of ovarian serous cystadenoma and ovarian borderline serous cystadenoma,which owned the rate of 15.22% and 46.88%.Of which the outcome has statistical significance(P<0.05);the positive expression rate of DEFB118 in ovarian serous cyst adenocarcinoma group was 50.00%,which is significantly higher than the group of ovarian serous cystadenoma and ovarian borderline serous cystadenoma groups,whose rates are 21.74%and 50.00%,the results of which also have statistical significance(P<0.05).2.In ovarian serous adenocarcinoma group,IL-8 FIGO in advanced stage(stage III-IV),high-grade cancer,lymph node metastasis and peritoneal metastasis in tumor tissue takes on high expression,but when it comes to FIGO in early stage(stage I and II),low grade carcinoma,lymph node and peritoneal the transfer of tumor tissue seems to have low expression.DEFB118's expression in FIGOIII-IV,high grade carcinoma,lymph node metastasis and peritoneal metastasis of tumor tissues was significantly higher than that in the early FIGO stage(stage I and II),low grade carcinoma,lymph node and peritoneal metastasis of ovarian serous carcinoma.3.The Spearman correlation analysis showed that: there was a positive correlation between the expression of IL-8 and DEFB118 in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma tissues(r=0.338,P<0.05).ConclusionIn ovarian serous carcinoma,the expression of IL-8 and DEFB118 in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in ovarian serous cystadenoma and ovarian borderline serous cystadenoma,what's more,the expression of the two protein in ovarian borderline serous cystadenoma of the ovary is higher than that of serous cystadenoma and ovarian serous;the expression of IL-8 and DEFB118 in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma was related to its clinical pathological features;the expression of IL-8 and DEFB118 has a positive correlation?suggesting that it may be relevant to its occurrence,development and metastasis of ovarian serous cystadenoma.
