Objective: To investigate the efficacy of total glucosides of paeoniflorin combined with desloratadine in the treatment of chronic urticaria by meta-analysis.Methods: Wanfang data,CNK,CBM,VIP and PubMed database were searched for clinical randomized controlled studies of total glucosides of paeoniflorin combined with desloratadine in the treatment of chronic urticariaand the literature of the library is retrieved by hand and the gray literature of the degree thesis is retrieved. The time range of the literature search is from the date of the database construction to the last retrieval time February 20,2017.Meta analyses was conducted using RevMan5.3 software. The total effective rate of treatment, cure rate, recurrence rateobserved after 3 months of treatment, total inCIdence of adverse reactions in the course of treatment and after treatmentwere observed. Results: Compared with patients with chronic urticaria treated with desloratadine monotherapy, the total effective rate of patients with chronic urticaria in the observation group treated with paeony glycoside combined with loratadine was significantly higher than that of the control group(OR = 2.09,95% CI=1.45-3.01,P <0.0001),the cure raterate was significantly higher than that of the control group(OR = 4.53,95% CI=2.81-7.29,P <0.00001).The relapse rate in the experiment group was significantly lower than that in the control group compared with those with chronic urticaria treated with dexamethasone monotherapy(OR = 0.56,95% CI=0.34-0.92,P = 0.02).The total in CI dence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that of the control group(OR = 0.56,95% CI=0.34-0.92,P = 0.02).Conclusion: Total glucosides of paeoniflora combined with desloratadine have a significant effect on chronic urticaria. However, due to the small number of literature included in this study and the small amount of sample included in the study, the inclusion studies may have a risk of bias. The results of this study may require greater sample size, high quality research results further confirmed.
