Clinical Observation Of Desloratadine Citrate Disodium Combined With Polystictus Glycopeptide Capsules In Treatment Of Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria And Its Influence On Total Serum IgE Levels

ObjectivesThe purpose of this clinical observation is to study the efficacy,safety and its influence on total serum IgE levels of Desloratadine Citrate Disodium combined with Polystictus Glycopeptide Capsules in the treatment for chronic spontaneous urticaria and to collect evidences to provide for the promotion and application.Methods64 cases which accorded the inclusion criteria from First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University outpatient department of Dermatology,Mar.2016-Dec.2016,were devided into the combined therapy group and the monotherapy group randomly,32 cases in each group.The combined therapy group was given Desloratadine Citrate Disodium tables,8.8mg per time,once a day;Polystictus Glycopeptide Capsules,2 capsules per time,3 times a day.Monotherapy group were given Desloratadine Citrate Disodium tables alone,8.8mg per time,once a day.Two groups were both treated for 4 weeks.During the treatment period,the changes of manifestations and adverse reactions were observed and recorded.The total serum IgE levels were measured before and after treatment.In order to record recurrence,keeping observation for 1 month after finishing 4 weeks' treatment,Results1.The UAS7 were obviously decreased separately in both groups,with statistically signigicant differences(P<0.001).Comparing between two groups,the difference has no statistically significant(P>0.05).2.To compare total effective rate.After 2 weeks' treatment,the difference between two groups has no statistically significant(P>0.05).After 4 weeks' treatment,the total effective rate of combined therapy group(90.63%)is higher than that of monotherapygroup(65.63%).The difference has statistically significant(P<0.05).3.After 4 weeks' treatment,two groups' total serum IgE levels were both decresed with statistically signigicant differences(P<0.001).Comparing with monotherapy group,total serum IgE levels of combined therapy decreased more(P<0.05).4.The recurrence rate of the combined therapy group was lower than that of the monotherapy group,which was statistically significant(P <0.05).5.Combined therapy group had 2 cases of slight drowsiness,1 cases of slight gastrointestinal reactions.Monotherapy group had 2 cases of dry mouth or slight drowsiness.All these reactions can be well tolerated.No severe adverse events was observed in both groups.ConclusionDesloratadine Citrate Disodium combined with Polystictus Glycopeptide Capsules in the treatment of CSU is effective and safe.It can effectively control the symptoms,reduce or even stop wheal response,and patients' total serum IgE levels decrease significantly with lower recurrence rate,less adverse reactions,and it is easy to take.The combined therapy is worth promoting.
