Objective: To study the erectile function in male patients with cardiovascular disease,to investigate the ED prevalence of patients with coronary heart disease and to explore the relationship between the related factors and erectile function. Methods:We chose 170 male patients who were treated in the outpatient department or ward of cardiovascular department of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2016 to September 2016.The subjects were divided into two groups according to whether they had coronary heart disease:Group I was CHD group(100 cases),married male;sexual partner fixed;coronary CTA and coronary angiography confirmed coronary heart disease patients.Group II was a non CHD group(70 cases),a married male;sexual partner fixation;Patients originally diagnosed with suspected coronary heart disease, but later CTA or angiography diagnosis appeared normal.Inclusion criteria: The patients were 25-65 years old, married, sexual partners fixed, would like to participate. All patients had no mental problems and language barriers. All patients had normal thinking and independent judgment.Exclusion criteria:(1)Patients with prostatic hypertrophy and other reproductive system diseases were treated with drugs.(2)Depression and other mental diseases.(3)sexual development and abnormal sex hormone secretion.(4)severe liver and kidney disease.(5)Long term oral sedative hypnotic drugs.(6)drug abusers.(7)pelvic and lumbar surgery affected sexual function.(8)patients with coronary heart disease combined with cardiac insufficiency.(9)connective tissue disease.(10)hyperthyroidism,systemic lupus erythematosus, and other diseases caused by endocrine causes. With the method of coronary artery CTA or coronary angiography to assess whether there is coronary heart disease. All patients were asked about the relevant history, collect the basic information of patients(age, height, weight),past history(including smoking history, drinking history, hypertension, diabetes history, etc.),record the related parameters(ABO blood group, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, glycerin three greases). The ED was evaluated by IIEF-5.Statistical methods: The date was analyzed by SPSS21.0 statistical software. The measurement data were expressed by the x±s deviation;the enumeration data was tested by the chi-square test, and P < 0.05 was considered as statistically significant.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis and odds ratio(OR)were used to identify risk factors for ED.Results:The baseline CHD group and non CHD group comparison results are as follows: compared with CHD group and non CHD group, there was statistical significance in diabetes, smoking and drinking,BMI value,TC value and TG value(P<0.05)etc.There was no significant difference in hypertension and age(P>0.05).The prevalence of ED in coronary heart disease group was 71.0%,and the prevalence of ED was 35.7% in non CHD group. The prevalence of ED in CHD group and non CHD group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The baseline ED group and non ED group comparison results are as follows: ED group compared with the non ED group, there was statistical significance in age, coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, drinking, smoking,TC value,TG value,HDL value,BMI value(P<0.05)etc..There was no significant difference in blood type(P>0.05).By using multiple regression analysis, adjusted the effects of confounding factors, found that age, history of coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes,a large number of drinking,BMI,TC,HDL on whether ED had statistical significance, the OR values were 1.13(95%CI 1.06-1.21),2.70(95%CI 1.02-7.15),2.72(95%CI 1.09-6.83),3.09(95%CI 1.10-8.72),3.46(95%CI 1.87-7.61),1.30(95%CI 1.07-1.60),1.56(95%CI 1.13-2.17),0.53(95%CI 0.01-0.74).Age,coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, alcohol consumption,BMI,TC were risk factors of ED.HDL is a protective factor for ED.Conclusion:1 There was a significant difference in the prevalence of ED between coronary heart disease group and non coronary heart disease group.According to the results of this study, the prevalence of ED in male patients with coronary heart disease should be inquired.2 Age,coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, drinking history,BMI,TC were risk factors of ED.3 HDL is a protective factor for ED.
