| Objective: To explore incomplete abortion rate, amount of bleeding, the cervical dilatation, frequency of operation, operation time, and degree of pain of manual and electrical of vacuum aspiration for termination of early pregnancy,so as to be used in clinic. Methods: Pregnancy women with less than or equal to 56 days of gestation seeking for induced abortion were randomly allocated into two groups.252 women were in the manual group. And 240 women were in the electric group. The cervical dilatation, the frequency of operation, amount of bleeding, operation time and degree of pain were observed. Results: There were statistical differences between the two groups in cervical dilatation(P<0.05).There were not statistical differences between the two groups in frequency of operation(P>0.05)。There were not statistical differences between the two groups in amount of bleeding(P>0.05).There were statistical differences between the two groups in operation time(P<0.05).There were statistical differences between the two groups in degree of pain(P<0.05).No complications occurred in the two groups. Conclusion:Compared with EVA,MVA have the same efficacy and safety in termination of early pregnancy. The advantages of MVA include less cervical dilatation, less operation time and less degree of pain. |
