The aim of this study was about the comparative studies on the physicochemical properties and bioactivities of green, oolong and black tea.Firstly,TPS(GTPS,OTPS,BTPS)and TP(GTP,OTP,BTP)were extracted and purified from green, oolong and black tea.OTPS was fractionated by ultrafiltration. The characteristics of OTPS fractions were characterized by the GC,viscometer,FTIR,and SEM.The antioxidant and anti-cancer effects of TPS and TP on SMMC7721,SKOV3 and HeLa cells were explored. The results showed that OTPS and OTP have the synergistic antioxidant activities on DPPH radicals and the strongest synergistic effect on SMMC7721 cells, and has a dose depended manner.OTPS1 with the molecular weight more than80 KDa had the highest viscosity, multicavity surface and the highest contents of uronic acid.Secondly, the antitumor effects of OTPS1 and OTP were studied on H22 tumor bearing mice. Results showed that OTPS1 and OTP could synergistically inhibit tumor growth. The contents of MDA and the activities of ALT and AST were decreased. The antioxidant enzyme activities of SOD,CAT,GSH-Px were notably increased.Furthermore, the expressions of VEGF,IL-2 and TNF-? were improved. Finally, tea flavonol glycosides and anthocyanins were studied. The relationship between the antioxidant, antihypertensive and anticancer activities with tea flavonol glycosides were compared. In addition,a new method was developed to separate and purify anthocyanins from black tea.The results showed that the black tea flavonols has the best antioxidant, antihypertensive and anticancer activities.BTF had the strongest ACE inhibition activity. There was a decrease in SBP and DBP at 8 h after administration, and BTF was the best.Thermodynamics and kinetics experiments showed that NKA-9 was the most efficient resin for the separation and purification of black tea anthocyanins.
