ObjectiveTo provide a safe, effective and convenient therapy for patients with postoperative sleep disorder undergoing Laparoscopic hysterectomy,in this randomized controlled clinical trial, patients with postoperative sleep disorder undergoing Laparoscopic hysterectomy were divided into experimental group given foot bath treatment with LiShi Chinese medicine(self-make prescription),control group given foot bath with warm water and the blank-control group to evaluate the relative efficacy and safety of foot bath treatment with LiShi Chinese medicine, and the significance of LiShi Chinese medicine in treatment and prevention of postoperative sleep disorder was discussed,in order to provide significant evidences for the use of foot bath treatment with LiShi Chinese medicine。 MethodsAccording to the diagnosis criteria, inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 105 participants with postoperative sleep disorders undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy in GuangDong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine were enrolled from January 1,2017,to August 30,2017.Using the methods of DME,patients were randomly divided into three groups which were the experimental group received the foot bath treatment with LiShi Chinese medicine(n=35),the control group(n=35)received the foot bath with warm water and the blank-control group(n=35),to evaluate the differences of recovery of patients with postoperative sleep disorders undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy.Results1.The outcomes of this study showed the difference of the scores of deep sleep quality between the experimental group and control groups, significant differences of simple effect were observed among the three groups on the fourth day after operation and day when patients discharged(P<0.001).According to the pairwise comparison, the experimental group had significant lower scores than the control groups,on the fourth day after operation and day patients discharged(P<0.001).2.The results also showed the different improvement of symptoms of heart-spleen deficiency pattern, significant differences of simple effect were observed among the three groups on the fourth day after operation and day patients discharged.According to the pairwise comparison, the experimental group had significant lower scores of symptoms than the control groups,on the fourth day after operation and day patients discharged.3.The time between the operation to first flatus and defecation was significantly shortest among the patients in experimental group, while the diversity between the blank-control group and control group was not statistically significant(P>O.05).4.In addition, any adverse reaction was not found among the patients in experimental group during the study.ConclusionAmong the patients with postoperative sleep disorder undergoing Laparoscopic hysterectomy, foot both treatment with LiShi Chinese medicine, accepted easily by patients, resulted in clinically significant reductions in time between the operation to first flatus and defecation, improvement of symptoms of sleep disorder and heart-spleen deficiency pattern, without any adverse reaction. These findings do support the use of foot both treatment with LiShi Chinese medicine.
