| Objectives:To observe the clinical curative effect of orthopaedic ballistic shock wave combined with Danggui Sini decoction in the treatment of adhesion stage wind cold type wet periarthritis,to provide a new idea for the treatment of frozen shoulder.Methods:This study was a randomized controlled trial,which selected 60 patients with periarthritis of shoulder that met the experimental standard and received treatment in Orthopedics Department in Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine during January 2017-December 2017.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 30 cases in each based on their sequence of treatment.The patients in experimental were treated by orthopedics ballistic shock wave combined angelica sinensis Sini decoction additional prescription.The MP100 orthopedic ballistic shock wave therapeutic apparatus was used to find out the pain points by local palpations and the Di15 probe was adopted to impact the pain points in concentration.After that,D20-S high-energy probe was used for shock wave therapy on corresponding muscle group based on the direction of patients' motion limitation in shoulder joint,of which the treatment pressure range was 1.8-2.5bar and the frequency range was 8-15Hz.The total number of impact times was 3500-4000 with 1 time per week and 4 weeks as one course.The patients in control group were treated by massage manipulation combined angelica sinensis Sini decoction additional prescription with 3 times a week for 4 weeks,and the massage manipulations referred to the therapeutic schedule of periarthritis of shoulder in adhesion phase as mentioned in Massage Therapy,the program textbook for National TCM colleges and universities.The above two groups of tests were combined with oral medication of angelica sinensis Sini decoction additional prescription,1 prescription per day and 4 weeks as a course.During treatment,two groups of patients actively cooperate with shoulder function training.The visual analogue scale(VAS)and shoulder function scores of two groups before treatment and one week after the treatment were recorded for statistical analysis.Results:1.The comparison of general information(gender,age,disease course,shoulder disease)between two groups in accordance with this study was not statistically significant(P>0.05).No case fell off during the study of this topic.2.During the treatment,no obvious adverse reactions occurred in patients of two groups,including hematoma,subcutaneous hemorrhage,swelling and skin allergies.At the end of treatment,the Liver and Kidney function had no obvious abnormalities.3.VAS pain scores could be improved by both treatment schedules,of which the improvement of pain scores in the experimental group was more significant than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The shoulder function score of patients could be improved by both treatment schedules,but the score of shoulder function in experimental group was better than that of control group one week after treatment(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.5.One week after the end of the treatment,the clinical efficacy was compared.The total effective rate was 93%in the experimental group and 83%in the control group.The experimental group had better efficacy than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Orthopedic ballistic shock waves combined with Danggui Sini decoction can be used to improve the pain of the shoulders of patients and promote the recovery of shoulder joint activity compared with that of massage combined with Danggui Sini decoction.It has the advantages of easy operation and high safety.Therefore,it is the effective program for treating wind-cold-damp periarthritis of shoulder in adhesion phase. |
