| Purpose: to explore the relationship between TCM syndromes and infrared thermography of KOA,and to provide a new method and objective index for KOA syndrome differentiation.Method: 90 KOA patients(observation group)and 90 healthy persons(control group)were collected.All the subjects were detected by Beijing Yuetian photoelectric HIR-2000 A Medical Infrared Thermography Diagnostic system.The infrared thermography of knee joint,four end(upper limb),four end(lower limb),right kidney area,left kidney area and du meridian were collected and analyzed statistically.Result: 1 There are 90 cases in the observation group,29 cases(32%)of kidney deficiency and marrow deficiency type,33 cases(37%)of yang deficiency and cold coagulation type,28 cases(31%)of blood stasis block type.There was no significant difference in sex and age among the three groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in sex and age between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).2 The infrared thermography of normal knee joint showed low temperature;the characteristic infrared thermography of knee osteoarthritis shows that there is a lower temperature area in the low temperature region.Some of the knee joint infrared thermography showed high temperature area or high temperature area in the low temperature area,which was the acute exacerbation of knee osteoarthritis with synovitis.3 The infrared thermal date of knee joint,four end(upper limb),four end(lower limb),left kidney area and right kidney area in the control group were higher than those in the observation group.It has statistical sign(P<0.05).Compared with the observation group,the infrared image of the Du meridian in the control group was lower,which had statistical significance(P<0.05).4 Comparison of infrared thermal date among different syndromes in the observation group:4.1 Diseased knee joint,left kidney area and right kidney area: The infrared thermal date of Yang deficiency and cold coagulation type was the lowest,and the comparison of yang deficiency and cold coagulation type with kidney deficiency and marrow deficiency type and blood stasis block type had statistical significance(P<0.01).Comparison of kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type and blood stasis block type had no statistical significance(P>0.05).4.2 Four end(upper limb): The infrared thermal date of yang deficiency cold coagulation type is the lowest,the kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type is in the middle,and the blood stasis block type is the highest.The infrared thermal date of three type Pairwise comparison has statistical significance(P<0.01).4.3 Four end(lower limb): The infrared thermal date of yang deficiency cold coagulation type is the lowest,the kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type is in the middle,and the blood stasis block type is the highest.The comparison of yang deficiency cold coagulation type with kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type and blood stasis block type had statistical significance(P<0.01).Comparison of kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type and blood stasis block type had statistical significance(P<0.05).4.4 Du meridian: The infrared thermal date of yang deficiency cold coagulation type is the highest,the blood stasis block type is in the middle,and the kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type is the lowest.The comparison of yang deficiency cold coagulation type with kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type and blood stasis block type had statistical significance(P<0.01).Comparison of kidney deficiency marrow deficiency type and blood stasis block type had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:1 The change of lower temperature area in the low temperature area of knee joint is the characteristic feature of infrared thermography in KOA.In the case of acute exacerbation of KOA with synovitis,thermography showed high temperature area or high temperature area in the low temperature area.2 The difference of infrared thermal date between the observation group and the control group is statistically significant,which indicates that the infrared thermography technology has guiding significance for early detection and preliminary diagnosis of KOA disease.3 The difference of infrared thermal date among the types in the observation group was statistically significant,which indicates that Infrared thermography has auxiliary function in judging TCM type of KOA,and can provide objective basis for syndrome differentiation of KOA. |
