Clinical Observation On Shenlingerzhu Decoction Treating Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Hyperuricemia

Objective:By observing the difference of patients' biochemical indicators,before and after treatment,to estimate the efficacy and safety of Shenlingerzhu decoction on type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia patients whose syndrome type are spleen-deficiency and phlegm-dampness stagnation,in order to provide clinical basis for the TCM treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia.Methods:This study adopted the randomized controlled design,63 type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia patients whose syndrome type are spleen-deficiency and phlegm-turbid stagnation were divided into two groups:the control group(n=31)and the treating group(n=32).The control group to be treated with the initial therapy of western medicine,patient in the treating group were added in Shenlingerzhu decoction based on the treatment of the control group,three courses with 4 weeks in a course.Observe and analyze the difference of related indicators,including blood glucose,serum uric acid,BMI,C-peptide,HOMA-%B,HOMA2-IR,CRP,NO,symptom score,blood-rt,urine-rt,stool-rt,hepatic and renal function.Results:Statistically analysis showed that the baseline,such as gender,age,disease course,weight and waistline between the two groups have no significant difference(P>0.05).(1)The clinical therapeutic effect:The total effective rate,after the treatment,of the treating group was 90.00%,and of the control group was 66.67%.The treating group has higher efficiency than the control group(P<0.05).(2)The syndreme therapeutic effect:The total effective rate,after the treatment,of the treating group was 90.00%,and of the control group was 63.33%.The treating group has higher efficiency than the control group(P<0.05).(3)The blood glucose level:Significant glucose lowering effects(including FBG,2hPBG and HbAlc)were observed in all the groups(P<0.01).The treating group had a more effective control of blood glucose than the control group(P<0.05).(4)The serum uric acid level:In each group,the serum uric acid were significant decreased(P<0.01).The serum uric acid level of the treating group reduced more than it of the control group(P<0.01).(5)Body Mass Index:Significant BMI reducing were observed in both the two groups(P<0.01).Comparison between the two groups were significant different aftter trearment(P<0.05).(6)The pancreas islets function:The FCP and HOMA2-%B of both two groups were significant different before and after treatment(P<0.01),and so did the HOMA2-IR of the treating group(P>0.05),but the HOMA2-IR of the control group was no significant different after treatment(P>0.05).The improve of FCP and HOMA2-%B in the treating group was more significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).(7)The CRP and NO level;The CRP and NO were significantly improved after treatment in both two gr-oups(P<0.01),the curative effect of the treating group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).(8)The safety indicators:The blood-rt,urine-rt,stool-rt,hepatic and renal function in each group were maintained in the normal range,all the patients had no adverse drug reaction during the trial.Conclusion:The study confirms that Shenlingerzhu decoction has certain effect on type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia,it can improve the symptoms of patients,control blood glucose,uric acid and body mass index,regulate the pancreas islets function,anti-inflammation and antioxidant stress.Shenlingerzhu decoction shows nor adverse reactions or side effect on patients,it's safe and effective,worth promoting.
