ObjectiveThe levels of plasma soluble ST2 protein(soluble stromelysin-2,sst2)and galactose agglutination-3(galectin-3,gal-3)and their clinical significance in the development of non valvular atrial fibrillation were investigated in patients with non valvular atrial fibrillation.At present,the mechanism of atrial fibrillation is not yet clear,but a large number of basic experiments and clinical studies have shown that the pathological mechanism of atrial fibrillation is related to atrial remodeling,inflammation and oxidative stress.Atrial electrical remodeling with early reversibility and atrial structural remodeling with late irreversibility together constitute atrial remodeling.Atrial electrical remodeling refers to the effect of rapid pacing of aberrant pacemakers in atrial tissue on the ionization of myocardial cells.Channels(calcium,potassium,and sodium).It can make atrial electrophysiological changes,shorten the effective refractory period and action potential completion time,so that the frequency of atrial fibrillation is not coordinated,resulting in the occurrence of atrial fibrillation.Atrial structural remodeling is an important manifestation of atrial fibrosis,which refers to the abnormal deposition of collagen fibers in the myocardial cell mesenchyme,can promote atrial electrical remodeling,further leading to atrial compliance deterioration,and provide pathological basis for the occurrence and development of atrial fibrillation.In recent years,studies have found that high levels of sST2 and Gal-3 are important factors in the promotion of myocardial fibrosis and play an important role in the diagnosis and prognosis of heart failure.Whether sST2 and Gal-3 are related to the development and prognosis of atrial fibrillation is not yet relevant,Clearly.Therefore,this study mainly through the detection of sST2 and Gal-3 levels in patients with non valvular atrial fibrillation,combined with other clinical indexes,the relationship between the degree of myocardial fibrosis in patients with non valvular atrial fibrillation was revealed in order to block atrial remodeling early,prevent AF from occurring,reduce recurrence,and provide the target of intervention.MethodsFrom January 2017 to August 2017,there were 179 patients with non valvular atrial fibrillation(test group),which was hospitalized in our hosptal.The experimental group was divided into paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group and persistent atrial fibrillation group,left atrium diameter>5 0mm group and left atrium diameter<5 0mm Group,cha2ds2-vasc>2 Group and CHA2DS2-VASC score<2.At the same time,165 cases(control group)of outpatient and hospitalized non atrial fibrillation group were selected.All selected patients collected baseline data complete,such as name,sex,age,basic disease,etc.Perfect biochemical routine and other routine inspection.After admission,the next morning fasting vein collection,high-speed centrifugal extraction plasma,with 0.5mlEP tube,-80? preservation.The sST2 and Gal-3 levels in the plasma of the samples to be tested were detected by ELISA.Results1.The level of sST2 and Gal-3 in serum was higher than that of sinus Rhythm Group(p<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.2.CHA2DS2-VASc>2 group serum sST2,Gal-3 level is higher than CHA2DS2-VASC score<2 Group(p<0.05),the difference is statistically significant;diabetes,The proportion of hypertensive disease in CHA2DS2-VASc?2 group was higher than that of CHA2DS2-VASC score<2 Group(p=0.01),and the difference was statistically significant.3.The level of sST2 and Gal-3 in the serum of persistent atrial fibrillation group was higher than that of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation(p=0.001),and the difference was statistically significant.4.the level of sST2 and Gal-3 in serum of lad? 50mm group was higher than that of lad<50mm group,and the difference was statistically significant5.Pearson correlation analysis suggested that sST2 and Gal-3 were positively correlated with CHA2DS2-VASC score.sST2,Gal-3 and lad have significant positive correlations.sST2 and Gal-3 were negatively correlated with atrial fibrillation type.sST2 was negatively correlated with ejection fraction,and Gal-3 had no significant correlation with ejection fraction.Conclusions1.The levels of sST2 and Gal-3 in patients with non valvular fibrillation were related to left atrial size,atrial fibrillation type and CHA2DS2-VASC score.The levels of sST2,Gal-3 and lad were,positively correlated with the type of atrial fibrillation,and sST2 were negatively correlated with ejection fraction,confirming that sST2 and Gal-3 were related to disease progression and could be used as an important index for the development and maintenance of atrial fibrillation.2.The level of sST2 and Gal-3 in patients with non valvular fibrillation can be used as a new evaluation index of atrial fibrillation progression in clinical practice.At the same time,it provides a new target for blocking atrial remodeling,delaying the development of AF and reducing complication.
