Clinical Observation Of Perianal Eczema Of Damp Heat Pattern Treated With Antipruritic Formula Granule Combined With Halometasone Cream

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy on perianal eczema of damp heat pattern treated with antipruritic formula granule combined with halometasone cream,providing new thinking for the treatment of perianal eczema in the future.Methods 125 patients diagnosed as perianal eczema of damp heat pattern from the proctology department in our hospital were randomized into an experimental group and a control group.The experimental group was intervened by topical antipruritic formula granule combined with halometasone cream,while the control group was intervened by halometasone cream only.For both groups,the course of treatment was during 4 weeks.Both groups were evaluated in the end of the course of treatment separately.Patients who were completely recovered and significantly improved from lesion skin were recruited to a follow-up visit in two months,recording and evaluating the recurrence rate after the treatment.The results of lesion-skin score,pruritus degree score,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score,and recurrence rate during the treatment and follow-up were assessed via statistical analysis.Results Before and after treatment,lesion-skin score between the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0 0.05).Before treatment,the comparison of pruritus degree score in both groups was not significant(P>0.05).After treatment,the pruritus degree score of patients in both groups was significantly different(P<0.05).Before treatment,the comparison of TCM syndromes score in the two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,the comparison of TCM syndromes score in the two groups showed significant differences(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the experimental group had a lower recurrence rate of perianal eczema,and this difference reached statistical significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The topical antipruritic formula granule combined with halometasone cream and single halometasone cream both have favorable effect,which can significantly remit patients’ symptom.Both groups were effectively relieved from lesion skin,resulting in lower TCM syndrome score and pruritus degree score.,but the topical antipruritic formula granule combined with halometasone cream can produce a more significant effect in improving pruritus degree score and TCM syndrome score.And the recurrence rate of antipruritic formula granule combined with halometasone cream is lower than that of halometasone cream,providing a safe and effective treatment for perianal eczema of damp heat pattern.
