Clinical Research On Treatment Of Postherpetic Neuralgia With Filiform-fire Needle

Objective:This study randomly compared the differences in clinical efficiency of two kinds of treatments(filiform-fire needle vs acupuncture)on Postherpetic Neuralgia(PHN)to observe the improvement of PHN pain relief and sleep efficiency.It is providing new basis for clinical popularization that use filiform-fire needle cure Postherpetic Neuralgia.To provide a reference for its standardized operation in clinical application and promote the clinical application and development of filiform-fire needle.Method:The selected 68 cases were equally randomized into 2 groups,the filiform-fire needle group and the acupuncture needle group,each of which has 34 cases.In the acupuncture needle group,acupoints were taken:Ashi,the corresponding Jiaji points of the affected side;Operation:ask the patient to take proper position,after routine disinfection.Heat to red in the flame of lit alcohol cotton ball,quick multiple needles shallow prick the affected place.Each needle was punctured one by one at intervals of l~2cm,and the needle was punctured quickly into the lesion.Stab in about 2mm,keep needle for 30 minutes.The treatment course was once a day,3 times a week,and two weeks after the treatment.The acupuncture needle group,point extraction:the same of filiform-fire needle group;Operation:after ascertaining the Ashi point of the pain site,sterilize with iodophor,Then the 40mm needle was used to peri prickle into 0.8 to 1 cun,from all sides to the center of pain.After getting qi,the needle was quickly twirled and filled with flat diarrhea for 1 minute.As for the Jiaji points,we determine the corresponding points depending on the site of pain.After routine disinfection,take 40mm needle oblique acupuncture to the spine by 1.0~1.2cun.Stop the needle after local acid-swelling or radiosensory sensation along the intercostal space,and don’t force a needle for the needle sensation.Needle retention is 30 minutes,needle interval of 10 minutes once,5 times a week,after 2 weeks to observe the efficacy.The comprehensive efficacy,VAS score,immediate analgesic effect,sleep efficiency and influencing factors of the two groups before and after treatment were statistically analyzed.Result:1.Comparison of the overall curative effect between the two groups:there was a good curative effect between the two groups in the treatment of PHN,and there was no significant difference between the two groups in the curative effect(P>0.05).2.Comparison of VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment:both the filiform needle and the filiform-fire needle therapy had a very significant effect on improving the vas score of PHN patients(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison of the time of immediate analgesic effect between the two groups:the time of immediate analgesic effect in the filiform-fire needle group was better than that in the filiform needle group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of sleep efficiency between the two groups before and after treatment:the effect of filiform-fire needle and filiform needle therapy on the sleeping quality of PHN patients was significantly improved(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).5.Comparison of age and curative effect of filiform-fire Needle group:there was no statistical difference among the three groups(40~50 years old,51~60 years old and 61~70 years old).There was no significant difference between the curative effect and the age factor in the treatment of PHN by the filiform-fire needle group(P>0.05).The pain degree of the filiform-fire Needle group was compared with the curative effect:there was no significant difference in the curative effect between the three groups of 8 points,5~8points and 5 points(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the curative effect of the treatment of PHN with the filiform-fire Needle and the degree of pain.Comparison of pain area and curative effect of filiform-fire Needle Group:there was no significant difference between the three groups,≥100cm~2、50~100cm~2 and<50cm~2,but there was no significant difference between the effect and pain area of PHN treated by filiform-fire needle.There was no significant difference in the course of disease and the curative effect between the three groups(P<0.05),1~3months,3~6 months and over 6 months.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05)),1~3 months and 3~6 months.Their curative effect was better than that of over 6months(P<0.05).There was a relationship between the curative effect and the duration of PHN.6.safety evaluation:no serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatmentConclusion:1.The filiform-fire needle and acupunture needle have good curative effect in relieving pain in patients with PHN.The immediate analgesic effect of filiform-fire needle is more obvious and the speed of pain relief is faster than that of the acupunture needle.2.As for The filiform-fire needle and acupunture needle,there is a good effect in improving sleep efficiency in PHN patients,the difference between the two is not significant.3.Age,degree and area of pain had little effect on the curative effect,but the course of disease had greater influence on the curative effect,the shorter the course of disease,the better the curative effect.4.The filiform-fire needle for the treatment of PHN has the advantages of safety,no side effects,low recurrence rate,and is worthy of promotion.
