Study On The Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Regularity Of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis Based On Data Mining And Complex Network

Objective: Based on the data mining method and complex network technology to study the treatment regularity of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: Using the structured clinical information database to collect the information of patients,diagnosed with primary biliary cirrhosis and treated with oral Chinese traditional medicine,and then standardize the data.Using statistical software to analyze the general information of patients,the utilization rate,properties,tastes,and channel tropism of traditional Chinese medicine,the distribution of the diagnosis of Chinese and Western medicine and syndrome type;using complex network software to analyze the regularity of traditional Chinese medicine.Results: 1.The age of onset of PBC was mainly between 50 to 60 years.The female had higher prevalence than male,the ratio of male to female is 1: 2.85.2.The Chinese diagnosis of PBC had liver stagnation,hypochondriac pain,jaundice,abdominal masses,tympanites,blood disorder.3.The traditional Chinese medicines used for PBC patients were involved in 18 categories,mainly using heat-clearing drugs,tonic deficiency drugs,relieving drugs,expectorant,cough and asthma drugs,activating blood circulation and eliminating stasis,eliminating dampness drugs.4.The properties of Chinese medicine used for PBCpatients were cold most,followed by warm,mild;The flavor of Chinese edicine used for PBC patients were mainly bitter,sweet,pungent;The Chinese medicine used for PBC patients were mainly belonged to liver,lung,stomach,spleen,kidney and heart meridian.5.There are 620 prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine,the higher frequency of usage of top ten Chinese medicines are as follows: salvia miltiorrhiza 348 times(56%),capillary artemisia 341 times(55%),licorice 313 times(50%),poria cocos 291 times(47%),radix curcumae 226 times(36%),Endothelium corneum amylase 209 times(34%),dried tangerine peel 166 times(27%),rhizoma alismatis 153 times(25%),Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata 142 times(23%),Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae 142 times(23%).6.The core drugs of liver stagnation conclude forsythia,radix curcumae,eupatorium,capillary Artemisia,poria cocos,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,salvia miltiorrhiza,licorice,Radix Bupleuri,medicated leaven,Endothelium corneum amylase,radix rehmanniae.The core drugs of hypochondriac pain conclude Rhizoma Corydalis,radix curcumae,eupatorium,capillary Artemisia,isatis root,rhizoma alismatis,Radix paeoniae Alba,salvia miltiorrhiza,Lygodium Japonicum,liquorice,Fructus Aurantii,poria with hostwood.The core drugs of jaundice conclude radix curcumae,jasmine,capillary Artemisia,poria cocos,rhizoma alismatis,miltiorrhiza,rhizoma alismatis,Lysimachia christinae,licorice,Endothelium corneum amylase,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata,radix paeoniae rubrathe.The core drugs of abdominal masses conclude adix curcumae,capillary Artemisia,Pericarpium Trichosanthis,poria cocos,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,salvia miltiorrhiza,Rhizoma Coptidis,dried tangerine peel,Radix Bupleuri,licorice,Endothelium corneum amylase,Praeparata.The core drugs of tympanites conclude Polyporusumbellatus,capillary Artemisia,poria cocos,Radix Scutellariae,rhizoma alismatis,salvia miltiorrhiza,Poria cocos Peels,dried tangerine peel,licorice,Endothelium corneum amylase,Rhizoma Anemarrhenae,Astragalus.The core drugs of blood disorder conclude Glehnia Littoralis,Herba Rhodiolae,rhizoma nelumbinis,semen sojae praeparatum,Rhizoma imperatae,mulberry leaf,almond,Cacumen biota,madder,Fritillarithunbergii,Radix Scrophulariae,Cape jasmine.Conclusion: The PBC is classified to different diseases based on the different symptoms,TCM syndrome types and pathogenesis by traditional Chinese medicine.But the treatments of them focuses on the pathological features of "dampness,heat,stasis,and deficiency",mainly using heat-clearing and detoxifying drugs,diuretic osmotic drugs,activating blood and removing stasis drugs,tonic deficiency drugs,the similar medication rules reflect he thought of “same treatment for different diseases”;whereas,the drugs vary according to different syndromes reflects the thought of “the same disease with different methods”.On the basis of the real world,the excavation of TCM is more consistent with the holistic concept of “integration of man and nature”,and the result is more credible and usable.
