Objective: To investigate the correlation between cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and serum thyroid hormone(FT3,FT4,TSH).Methods: Collected in January 2015-January 2017 with chronic heart failure in the first affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university heart patients hospitalized, with a total of 788 cases, including heart failure group 460 cases, male 307 cases(66.7%),female,153 cases(33.3%).In the control group, there were 328 cases,172 males(52.4%)and 156 females(46.6%).Were determined in patients with serum FT3,FT4,TSH,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),using t test, the test of variance,chi-square test,Logistic and Pearson correlation analysis and comparison of cardiac function classification, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),and the relationship between the thyroid hormone. Results: After statistical analysis,FT3 of different cardiac function group decreased with the aggravation of cardiac dysfunction, and FT4 and TSH did not change significantly. The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was positively correlated with FT3 in the overall level. Conclusion: Chronic heart failure(CHF)rise in heart function classification, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)the decline of serum thyroid hormone in the FT3 down significantly,at the same time to verify the clinically normal thyroid sick syndrome(ESS)in patients with chronic heart failure in the high incidence of a disease. The high incidence of thyroid hormone reduction in heart failure patients, combined with serum thyroid function measurement, can help to assess the severity and prognosis of heart failure.
