Objective: The risk factors of patients with chylothorax after resection of esophageal carcinoma. Methods : Retrospective analysis of new yifuyuan surgical treatment of patients with esophageal cancer in 1010 cases, the postoperative chylothorax in 37 patients as case group,974 cases of chylothorax patients as control group, analysis of patients with general information, surgical treatment and postoperative chylothorax treated by single method and multiple factors analysis of risk assessment in patients with chylothorax factors. Results:Of the 1010 patients,742 were male and 268 were female.Postoperative chylothorax occurred in 37 patients(3.66%);related factors included the age, gender, smoking history, drinking history,BMI,preoperative imaging suggests mediastinal lymph node enlargement, intraoperative blood transfusion, whether prophylactic ligation of thoracic duct, tumor location, tumor size, depth of tumor invasion(operation T staging and postoperative pathology)suggest that the number of lymph node metastasis(N staging)12 index.By single factor Logistic analysis showed that esophageal cancer patients and control group in upper esophageal carcinoma of esophagus, larger tumor size and the depth of tumor invasion(T staging),the postoperative results showed that the number of lymph node metastasis(N staging),BMI = 28,mediastinal lymph node enlargement, intraoperative preventive ligation of thoracic the catheter 7 variables were statistically significant factors(p<0.05).There will be significant factors by multivariate analysis after Logistic in patients with esophageal cancer, esophagus and esophageal tumor volume is larger, the depth of tumor invasion(T staging),the postoperative results showed that the number of lymph node metastasis(N staging),mediastinal lymph nodes suggest risk factors in patients with esophageal surgery tumor of chylothorax after(p<0.05).Conclusion: In patients with esophageal cancer, esophagus, esophageal, larger tumor size and the depth of tumor invasion(T staging),the postoperative results showed that the number of lymph node metastasis(N staging)and mediastinal lymph nodes were risk factors of postoperative chylothorax, esophageal cancer patients for surgery, need to evaluate the relevant examinations and the related risk factors for chylothorax to strengthen attention and reasonable treatment options, given the positive and effective treatment measures.
