| Demanding verbs are a special meaning classification of modern Chinese lexicology, whose characteristics have aroused much attention in modern Chinese linguistics. On the basis of previous studies, the thesis emphasize cognition interpretation about high-frequency monosyllabic demanding verbs from perspectives of their definition, semantic and semantics behaviors. This thesis firstly establishes demanding schema based on category theory, through meaning, form and use frequency, comes up with the criteria of monosyllabic demanding verbs and ascertains 22 typical demanding verbs. Secondly, we extract significant collocations from Chinese language committee circulation corpus. In syntactical similarities, on one hand, the thesis establishes 8 collocational frameworks according to the corpus linguistics and applies the method of cognitive and parallel conversion, confirming the two nouns followed demanding verbs are double-object. On the other hand, the distribution of inanimate collections in obligatory semantic components has also been analyzed, which interpreted by metonymy theory. In the semantic similarities, the thesis analyzes the, and explores the common semantic feature, which requires agent are conscious, independent and animate, obtaining ingredient are animate, inclusiveness and patient are bounded, inanimate, concrete, removable and profitable. In syntactic special characters, on the one hand, the thesis puts emphasis on the abstract collocation behavior and give cognitive explanation. On the other hand combines with the syntactic similarities, probes into the evolution path of component which extending outward from the prototype and the abstract developing trends. In semantic special characters, summarizes the variations of demanding schema caused by atypical collocation.About the sentences, includes all sentences demanding verb has appeared, counting their use frequency and use environment. According to the degree of markedness theory, marks these sentences with relative marked level and expounds from the perspective of distance iconicity, complex iconicity and the empathy principles. |
