Chuan Shan's philosophy based on his Yi-learning.Yi-learning is the core of his philosophy.As one of the peak of Chinese Philosophy,his thought has the nature of the Han Dynasty.He stressed the Qi of Yin and Yang,and see Qi as a basis for naturemental-nature?human relations?morality and value.But Chuan Shan's thought beyond the theory of Han Dynasty.Because Chuan Shan research the Qi from the angle of philosophy.He thought the Qi tallied between ontology and function.Chuan Shan concentrated on the mental-nature which put forward his own unique point of view when he face the basic problem of Chinese philosophy.Chuan Shan's outstanding contribution confined to the summary and criticizing for Neo-Confucianism.He inherit Zhang Zai's thought for example the ontology of Qi "Tai Xu is Qi" and "Qi has two attributes".These opinion be carried out through to the mental-nature.Making unity of Li and Qi?unity of cosmology and mental-nature.Chuan Shan's Yi-learning is broad and profound.The imange-number and meaning-pattern are combined very well.This paper research the unite the ontology of Qi and the mental-nature from the angle of Yi's meaning-pattern.
