In the traditional resources, Ou YangShan found the traditional art form which is compatible with the revolutionary content, and they achieved a better integration in the new context. For this kind of fusion, this thesis will discuss from three aspects. Firstly, Characters are traditional, setting Hu Xing as "goddess of mercy" image, He Shouli as a representative of "the concubine of a girl" image and the Yang family as the representative of the "old Chinese" image. Secondly, Ou Yangshan told revolutionary history by family narrative mode from the classical novel which is familiar to the readers to realize the desire of reviewing history. With the exhibition of family history and the shaping of different images, he proved Chinese Communist Party is correct and essential. Lastly,he used the style of traditional Chinese novels with captions for each chapter in a new way. He borrowed narrative skills selectively and put them in accordance with the transformation of the mainstream ideology.Thesis mainly analyses novels of Ou Yangshan from these three aspects, and explains the traits of his novels based on a close reading of the texts.
