The Discussion Of Meng Jinghui's Acceptance And Transcendence To Meyer Herd's Dramatic Theory

In the communicative process of Chinese and western drama culture,many Chinese vanguard dramatists have much more broadly accepted the western dramatic theory.Meng Jinghui,one of these dramatists,not only prefers Mayer Herd's theory,but also is heavily influenced by it.Nowadays,since the discussion of Meng Jinghui's acceptance and transcendence for Mayer Herd's dramatic theory has not aroused extensive concern in academic circles,this paper will systematically study this subject.This discussion can not only give reference and guidance for the research on Meng Jinghui's dramatic theory,but also provide inspiration to Mayer Herd's dramatic research theoretically.At the same time,it will inject fresh blood into the development of Chinese pioneer drama.This paper is mainly based on the acceptance of the theory,and attempts to explore Meng Jinghui's acceptance and transcendence for Mayer Herd's drama theory.It will be divided into three parts.The introduction mainly explains the selected topical basis,significance,applied research methods and a overview of researches both domestic and abroad;And the first part mainly discusses the reasons of Meng Jinghui accepting Meyer Herd's dramatic theory.From two aspects of objective environment and subjective factors,the final analysis will be concluded that: Meng Jinghui accepts Meyer Herd's drama theory because of both being influenced by social objective situation and his preference for Mayer Herd.Then,the second chapter mainly discusses that Meng Jinghui accepts Meyer Herd's dramatic theory and his concrete practice of it.And with the dramatic nature and performance mode being carried on the detailed discussion,Meng Jinghui sees not more than a dramatic theorist of theatrical research and innovation,but more rational criticism and inheritance of dramatic theory in Meyer Herd.And eventually,the third part mainly discusses that on the basis of Meyer Herd's dramatic theory,Meng Jinghui goes beyond Meyer Herd in his own theory,which is embodied in rebellion and mix of dramatic spirit,as well as commercial and immersion.And precisely because Meng Jinghui inherits and develops Meyer Herd in a special way,his drama can play an enduring role in the stage of pioneer drama in China.
