| This thesis is a translation report. The translation material of this translation project is an excerpt from WTO Annual Report 2015, which is published on the official website of WTO. In this translation report, the translator mainly focuses on the translation of Chapter 6, Dispute Settlement. The original text mainly reported the achievements of dispute settlement body(DSB) in 2014 and early 2015, during which the DSB faced many challenging problems and solved them by methods innovation. In settling many new disputes, the DSB made some interpretation of some articles of agreements. Knowing these disputes, the method of solving them and new interpretation of agreements will help China solve its own disputes and safeguard its interests. Under Skopos Theory of Hans J. Vermeer, using many translation methods including Conversion, the translator tried hard to understand the text correctly and translate it properly to make the translated text accurate, understandable and smooth. |
