American linguist Selinker first introduced the concept of “interlanguage hypothesis”.Interlanguage study in the field of second language acquisition research occupies an important position. It reveals the general rule of language acquisition, offers the main research materials, and enriches the theory of second language acquisition. Many researchers all over the world have launched many empirical studies on interlanguage. Empirical studies focused on morpheme, strategy and pragmatic aspects. In the domestic and foreign empirical research were few studies on verb BE.Based on the contrastive analysis hypothesis, error analysis hypothesis and interlanguage hypothesis theory, researchers focused on the Chinese learners of English verb BE acquisition conditions.There are various forms and functions of verb BE. It brings great difficulties for the acquisition of English learners. Previous scholars research about verb BE usually takes a single research method, so much of them are unable to provide more comprehensive acquisition and usage of verb BE. The description of forms and distribution function about verb BE is not very specific. This paper revolves around the Selinker's interlanguage theory, by the assumption of interlanguage, combined with the analysis of experimental data, analyzes the Chinese learners of English about verb BE acquisition conditions. And on this basis, this paper summarizes the research achievements of predecessors, based on the theory of the Selinker's interlanguage hypothesis, analysis on test data as a base, studies the verb BE ellipsis and excessive use, provides a new perspective of verb BE study.The purpose of this paper is to study the Chinese learners of English acquisition and the service condition of verb BE, analysis of learners in the acquisition process of the verb BE generated interlanguage grammar rules. Meanwhile depth analysis of Chinese English learners omissions and excessive use of verb BE, both of them influence on second language acquisition and its enlightenments to the teaching practice, the method is to rely on the analysis of experimental data, and then by adopting the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
