The family is the essential element in our lives.The construction of family ethics is of great importance for family harmony and social stability.In recent years,scholars focus on the study of the Confucian family ethics, however, there is a comprehensive study of Mencius family ethics relatively few.This article attempts from the philosophical perspective,systematically to explored Mencius family ethics basic on connotation, application and features.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter pay attention to the construction of family ethics,basing on the family of Confucian ethics.because of the role of the family should not be ignored,the construction of family ethics is important.The second chapter,the main content of Mencius family ethics, aiming to expound the construction of family ethics is of great significance for building harmonious families.The third chapter of Mencius family ethics according to internal and external extension,Mencius family ethics is based on the theory of goodness and applied to the construction of family ethics,and then through their own efforts to enlarge the family ethics. In Mencius family ethics, inevitably there will be a trade-off between, the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter respectively discusses the ethical and legal who is big and the relationship between principle and flexibility.The sixth chapter combines Mencius background of the times,which five aspects of Mencius family ethics are summarized.
