As we all know, virtù is Machiavelli’s one of the most important concepts on thinking about human behavior, especially in military and political affairs. General study of Machiavelli will discuss this concept. As can be seen from the frequency of occurrence in the writings of Machiavelli, this concept is very important. This paper try to reinterpret the virtù of Machiavelli in contemporary ethics perspective.This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter mainly introduce the value and significance of the research, making a general research status review. The second chapter overviews MacIntyre virtùe, the evolution of virtù in the heroic age, ancient Greece and medieval Christian era, Machiavelli’s understanding of Virtue in each era and MacIntyre’s comments on contemporary view of virtù. Then I will compare their different understanding of virtùe. In the third and fourth chapters, I mainly study the main features of Machiavelli’s Virtue Concept and other related ideas. The third chapter I mainly study the specific connotation and characteristics of Machiavelli’s Virtue, In the fourth chapter, I examined the relationship between moral ideas and other related concepts. In the fifth chapter, I examined the lack of Machiavelli Virtue in Moral Virtue, under the perspective of virtùe ethics.
