Study On Macintyre's Ethical Thought Of Virtue

In today's world,evil virtues are contrary to virtues,ugliness and charisma coexist,ethics develops and retreats,and humanity is caught in a severe moral dilemma.The introduction of McIntyre's ethical thoughts undoubtedly sounded a loud alarm for the Western society with moral crisis,which aroused strong repercussions from Western society.On the occasion of the Chinese nation's comprehensive rejuvenation of traditional virtues,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study MacIntyre's virtue ethics and to draw on its theory and proposition from both positive and negative aspects.Based on the combing of the traditional virtue ethics system,McIntyre constructed a ethical ideology system with modern characteristics by integrating the Aristotle virtue model and the Aquinas virtue ethics framework.Based on this,a comprehensive diagnosis of the contemporary Western moral crisis is made,pointing out that the arbitrariness of ethosism and the prevalence of utilitarianism,the change of "characteristic role" and "self",and the failure of enlightenment planning to demonstrate moral rationality are Western society.The basic reason for falling into a severe moral crisis is to put forward the idea of returning to traditional virtues.Through the deconstruction and analysis of human nature,according to the characteristics of human vulnerability,dependence and moral indispensability,McIntyre demonstrates the idea that virtue ethics can transcend human nature.Aiming at the moral life situation of the real society,this paper puts forward the methods and paths of exploring the virtues in the traditional narrative way,constructing the virtues from the standpoint of the community and so on.We should objectively analyze and evaluate McIntyre's ethical thoughts according to the basic ideas of historical materialism.The thesis uses the comparative research method to conduct a longitudinal comparison of the ethical thought history of MacIntyre's ethics and a horizontal comparative study of the Eastern and Western ethical thoughts;using the causal analysis method to analyze the cause and effect of the formation of the ethics of McIntyre's ethics;Analytical method,grasp the ethical system and structure level of McIntyre's virtue,in order to make the analysis and evaluation of the combination of elementality and integrity.
