"What dose luck matter"has been always an important issue which gives rise to many debates in ethics.As to how to understand the ethical meaning and moral weight of luck,there are two ways in the history of ethics,macroscopic and microscopic.Since 1970's,the discussions about the relationship between luck and agency or consequence and the relevance of these three factors for moral appraisals,have been one of the focuses in contemporary ethics.Martha Nussbaum believes moral luck will make our lives better,although it alaways affected our life suddenly,you have good quality can resist the impact of bad luck..Martha Nussbaum discovered that in ancient Greek tragedy and poetry have long been described in moral luck,through the use of the material as evidence,she proposed to focus on moral luck is not specific context of good and bad luck,but the actors throughout the life course of interaction with uncertainty,we hope to obtain a macroscopic insight on the relationship between luck and self-initiative.Compared with them,the limitation of human beings and the complexity of our world,and helping us to reflect essences of moral knowledge and moral life.
