Narrative, popular to say, is to tell the story, and this is the innate behavior and ability of human beings. It has always been to Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties impression, not “to tell the story”(or even no story), but “to express feelings”. This does not mean that it has no narrative Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. On the contrary, it has a substantial number, and breaks the “feeling world” siege brightly by their unique narrative charm. The object of this paper is to explore the narrative Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and study its internal narrative characteristics on the basis of the detailed analysis of the text. This paper is divided into six parts:First of all, the introduction part, I make a general overview from the macro overall of Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and divide these into three periods——Jian'an, Zhengshi and Western Jin and Eastern Jin dynasties. Then, I review the research findings previous of Fu in the Wei and Jin from three aspects — — the overall, dating, Wei and Jin personal. Last, I briefly explain the reasons and significances to research this topic of the research of Narrative of Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. The first chapter, I will discuss the origin of narrative of Fu before the Wei and Jin Dynasties(the pre Qin to the Han Dynasty). The focuses are on Xun Qing, Qu Yuan, Song Yu and Han Fu's narratives. Overview of early narrative is to lay the foundation for further study of Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. The second chapter begins with the narrative of Fu in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.Since Wei and Jin have more lyrical and chanting Fu, I must first elucidate the background and motivation of the Fu narrative. That is narrative in what situation, under what background and why should narrate. The author explains the reasons from the requirements of their own style, the lyric are weak and subject matter needs. The third chapter, to the Wei and Jin Dynasties, I will carry on the classification of the subject matters of the Fu that had narrative factors, and sum up the Fu which are suitable for narrating. I divide them into eleven categories, including going on an expedition and having a tour, ascending a height and meditating on the past, living in seclusion and staying at home idle, facing a river and crossing over sea, hunting andshot, capital and palace, Sacrificial Rite and entertaining guests, beauty women and widow ladies, clever skills and games, fable stories and daily life. I want to have a reasonable understanding of the content of each and let them classify into appropriate categories. The fourth chapter is the most important part. On the basis of Chinese narrative theories, combined with the western narrative concepts, I examine the Fu text of Wei and Jin and detailedly analysis the arts. I present seven characteristics——narrative of prefaces of Fu, "experience" narrative, "implied author" narrative, spatial narrative and historical narrative, metaphor of narrative, dialogues and question narrative structure, plot of refinement and style of humor. Each feature is concluded from the analysis of specific works and linking theory with practice. The last part, I will make a brief conclusion and discusses the progresses and significances of the narrative of Fu in Wei and Jin Dynasties, as well as its influences on the evolution of Chinese narrative tradition.
