Study On The Geographical Distribution And Characteristics Of The Ancient Towers Of Gannan Area

As an abundant cultural resource in Gannan area,the ancient towers is widely exist in the counties of Gannan area. Especially the tall ancient towers which mainly exist in the county usually tend to be one of the representative landmark buildings in the city. This thesis is going to analyze the two aspects that are time and space combined with the social development and the distribution of the ancient towers of Gannan area.By studying on the local historical data,understanding the build period and characteristics of the ancient towers. Aiming at putting the ancient towers into the natural environment, humanism and social background, the differences of internal development and some historical patterns,all these are for exploring the ancient towers in Gannan area distribution.Through the point of history repairment of regional ancient towers, the thesis exposes the influences to the local history given by the relationship between regional social development.Especially compared with the exquisite towers during the Tang and Song Dynasties,, the superstition towers of the Ming and Qing Dynasties largely changed crowd of building the towers and from the local officials to the ordinary people widely hope that by building the superstition towers,they can achieve the goal of prosperity in the examination system. At that time, the social function of teaching local people of the ancient temples reached to their top spot.
