As the half of Chinese Traditional Culture, Folk Culture, which was born in agricultural society, is the collective wisdom of all working people in the old age. Significant regionality and national characteristics, as well as the deep cultural connotation make Folk Culture colorful and rich. Folk Culture has a strong relationship with public life, which is the reconstruction of people's production and life, and also the expressions of good wishes. In the social transformation period, agricultural society is gone and the industrialization begins, with the rapid increase of Chinese economics and the high level of substance life, folk culture is bleeding in the procession of globalization and urbanization. The disappearance of traditional communities, the transformation of economic mode, and the change of people's life style all lead Folk Culture into a rather weak situation. The future of Folk Culture's inheritance and development is no optimistic at all.Since 2012, I became a master student of Feng jicai Institute of Literature and Art. Under the education of Professor Feng, I have been working on the rescue and protection of Folk Culture. After two years of field work, I appreciate Folk Culture so much, at meantime, I am so worried about the bad situation of Folk Culture. However, there are several Folk Culture which live in a good and stable life, which makes me so satisfied. Thus, I want to use three Laohui which were found in good situation during my field work as a case, discuss the inheritance and development of Those Laohui from Three aspects: the change of folk beliefs, the change of public life and cultural identity. Through those narration, I expect to get a suitable way of Folk Culture Protection in the social transformation period, seek the law to the fate of Folk Culture, and make a contribution to the studies of cultural heritage in both theoretical and practical.
