A Study On "Innate Knowledge Theory" Of Wang Yangming

Wang Yangming (1472-1529) is a philosopher in Ming dynasty,is widely considered as the master of "mind study"."Innate knowledge theory" is the core of Wang Yangming,theory."Innate knowledge theory" covers cosmology,theory of human nature,epistemology and methodology,which has rich theoretical and practical significance.The paper includes three chapters.The first chapter describes the era background of Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory".In the Middle of Ming Dynasty,social conflicts intensified and the social feudal rule under the crisis.Wang Yangming disagree with Zhu Xi.He committed to find the "Innate knowledge" in everyone,heart.The second chapter analysis the Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" from four aspects.First,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" contained the cosmological thought.Wang Yangming believes everything has its own Innate knowledge and the Innate knowledge is the ontology and the master of all things.Second,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" contained the theory of human nature.Wang Yangming thinks Innate knowledge is human nature,it is neither good nor evil.Third,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" contained the epistemology.Wang Yangming thinks Innate knowledge is the source and the standard of knowledge,Innate knowledge is the principle of nature.Fourth,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" contained the methodology.Wang Yangming thinks people should not only know the Innate knowledge also practice it.The understanding and the practice are interdependent and indivisible.The third chapter discusses the significance of Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory".First,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" has abundant theoretical significance.Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" highlights the subject consciousness of the people.Also,the theory believes all things was within the realm of Innate knowledge.Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" also emphasizes the unity of knowledge and practice and promotes the syncretion of Confucianism and Buddhism.Second,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" has great practical significance.Our country is in the important period of social development,Wang Yangming's "Innate knowledge theory" has a great guiding significance on ideological and moral construction.
