The Literary Geography Study Of Jianghu Xiaoji And Jianghu Houji

Jianghuji are Literary Collections which written by some scholars and edited by Chenqi who lived in Nansong Dynasty. It was once banned because of “ Jianghu Poetry Disaster”and has not reserved the original edition, now we get Jianghu Xiaoji and Jianghu Houji after Qing Sikuguan Officials sorted out. Few studies of Jianghu Xiaoji and Jianghu Houji are base on Literary Geography, this paper is trying to explore the geographical distribution and characteristics of these two works by searching for statistics geographic information, relevant geographic information,social background and the personality of these writers. Then we could enhance the perceptibility of the writers and enrich the understanding of these two works.This paper consists of research for geographical information,including the two works and their writers.Chapter One elaborates geographical information of these writers,including lists of scholars,their birth places and places where they had ever lived.Chapter Two elaborates geographical information of writers,which contains the geographical distribution,combination and communicative style of them.We conclude that Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces are the most common places for them despite the various native places.The native places of the writers are complicated,most of them belong to imperial household.The majority of these writers are offices whose position are low.The communications are frequent and focus on literature.Chapter Three concentrates on geographical distribution of the two works,which gives priority to Rd's rules of Nansong Dynasty and based on density of statistics,including states,county towns,mountains,rivers,temples,palaces and so on.Chapter Four makes a conclusion that geographical distribution of the two works are mainly on Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces and spread to surrounded areas.Most of these works are produced in mountains,rivers,temples and palaces,especially in Chang'an and Kaifeng.Then we make an analysis from perspective of the superiority of Zhejiang and Jiangsu province,material and spiritual needs of the writers,social customs,culture and political influence.
