Study On The Transformation Of The Spouses Of Industrialist And Businessman During The Socialistic Transformation In JiangXi (1953—1966)

After the General Line in the transition period announced, the country began to transform capitalist industry and commerce, Including the spouses of industrialist and businessman. The social transformation intervened and permeated into various aspects of the economy and national psychology. Facing the transformation, most of the spouses of industrialist and businessman were perplexed. Within a short time, they could not comprehend the Political and economic policy because of their low level of education. While the Movement of Three Antis & Five Antis and the Rectification Campaign had pushed strong political influence over them, they had no choice but to accept the transformation to get the identification form country. In this process of transformation, It took the spouses of industrialist and businessman a long time to accept this movement, although they were resisted at first. This article mainly utilize the record file of Federation of Industry and Commerce in JiangXi, aiming to outline the process of reformation of Capitalistic Industry and Commerce in Jiang Xi, analyze the reasons that the country implement this movement and the responses form the spouses of industrialist and businessman.This article altogether is divided into three chapters to discuss the following questions.The first chapter discusses the background of the reformation of the Capitalistic Industry and Commerce in Jiang Xi, mainly expounding the policy of transformation and analyzing the reasons that the country implement this movement. This article considers that the spouses of industrialist and businessman obeyed the country’s policy which was needed for their self-liberation. At the same time, they had the task to help the industrialist and businessman to strive for progress.The second chapter mainly analyzes the complex psychological about the spouses of industrialist and businessman. Few people resisted this movement, most of them were forced to accept this movement because of the strong pressure form the country. About the attitudes to national policy, the spouses of industrialist and businessman regarded the Fixed Interest as a hot potato, they thought the Streamline Retirement policy reduced their treatment. At the same time, they were resisted toexhort their children to devote to the Rural-Going movement. And the economic difficulties led to the backwards.The third chapter mainly discuss the leading institution and the leaders in this movement. With the most part-time members at the Working Committee, the leading institution could not run smoothly. While the identity of backbone was a straitjackets to the spouses of industrialist and businessman. At the last, this chapter also discuss that combining the theoretical study and labor practice was a good way to transform the spouses of industrialist and businessman.
