In a heterosexual-based social culture environment, homosexuality has been ostracized. In the historical period, homosexuality was even seen as a disease that required treatment. People's negative attitude towards homosexuality deeply affect gay's marriage legalized, social support and self-identity. In today's increasingly open and inclusive social culture environment, the people of homosexual sexual minorities has gradually become tolerant attitude, but the original negative attitude has not disappeared. So people's attitude to homosexuality became ambivalenceIn this study, recruited heterosexual college students 81 in Jiangxi Normal University, and measured by three studies of heterosexual college students ' explicit and implicit ambivalence about the gay community and exploratory study of the ambivalent attitude change approach. Study 1 using a "gay ambivalence Students Scale" measuring heterosexual college students Explicit ambivalence and the extent of homosexuality; Study 2 using two Implicit Association Test(IAT) measuring heterosexual college students implicit ambivalence about homosexuality its degree;Study 3 presenting three "the gay-related cognitive information" video then discussing heterosexual subjects' ambivalent attitude change on homosexuality. Through three studies the following conclusions:1. Heterosexual college students for homosexuality prevalence of explicit ambivalence, but the degree of conflict in general, and a low level.2. Heterosexual college students outside homosexuality was contradictory attitude "is contact homosexual" and "urban" aspect there is no significant difference; "gender" and "only child", the boys significantly higher than girls, "Non child" significantly higher " only child. "3. Heterosexual college students within homosexuality prevalence of hidden ambivalence, contradictions all degree subjects approximate normal distribution.4. Heterosexual college students ambivalence implicit homosexuality "gender", "whether the child", "whether homosexual contact" are not significantly different terms; in terms of urban and rural, urban college students was significantly lower than rural students.5. Show "homosexuality-related cognitive information" video, you cancontradictory extent, but does not significantly reduce the degree of implicit contradiction.
