“In all cultures,homosexuality phenomenon in human history is a basic pattern of behavior commonly existed whether in the highly developed industrial society or in the cruel primitive tribes, both in the 21 st century and in ancient times”(Yinhe Li,2003)。In June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that homosexual marriage was legal in the United States.Then the United States became the twenty-first country to recognize the legitimate homosexuality throughout the world;In June 2013 Russia passed the legislation that prohibits the promotion of "non-traditional sexual relations".In 2016, Russia once again issued the ban on gay hand or kiss in public。Thus the attitudes of different countries on homosexuality is huge, the attitude of the history of homosexuality has also been repeated.Beginning from 1980 s, some countries or institutions gradually realized homosexual non pathological understanding:In 1973, American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the revised version of the third edition of the diagnostic criteria for mental disorders(DSM-III-R), which realized homosexual non pathological understanding;On May 17, 1990, the World Health Organization deleted homosexuality from the original "adult personality and behavior disorder" list in "international Disease Classification Manual(ICD-10) and spirit and conduct disorder classification".In the World Health Organization realized non pathology;April 2001 revised edition "Chinese mental disorders classification and diagnosis standard" Third Edition(CCMD-- III) has been officially removed from the list of mental illness.Thus China achieved non pathology.College students are in the sixth stage of the theory of Erikson personality development.The main task of in this stage is to develop intimacy, to avoid the feeling of loneliness, to experience the realization of love. College students in this stage will begin to face the challenges of love, marriage and family problems.They mainly concern love, marriage, and sexual issues. The research of the cognition and attitude to homosexuality of college students, establishing a correct concept of sex, college students eliminate discrimination against gays with reference and guidance for college students.According to Dual attitude model thinks that people are thought to have two different attitudes to objects: one kind is explicit attitude, which can be sensed and reported; the other implicit attitude which is automatically activated, without the sense of participation. The research is based on the theoretical model of College Students’ attitude to homosexuality, using homosexuality table measuring College of homosexuality explicit attitude.Implicit association test and its variant to measure implicit attitudes of college students to homosexual.By comparing the results of explicit and implicit measurement, the relationship between explicit attitude and implicit attitude was analyzed.Through the interview method to study the understanding of College Students of homosexuality, and explore the related factors that affect college students’ attitudes to homosexuality.The results show that:1.College students with different gender have significant difference in the explicit attitude towards homosexuality and gay, and the girls are more positive.2.Boys’ explicit attitude towards gay was more positive than lesbian, girls’ explicit attitude towards gay and lesbian have no significant difference.3.College students with different gender have significant difference in the implicit attitude towards gay, and the boys’ are more positive.4.College students with different gender have significant difference in the implicit attitude towards lesbian, and the girls’ are more positive.5.Boys’ implicit attitude towards gay was more positive than lesbian, and girls’ implicit attitude towards lesbian was more positive than gay.6.The explicit attitude and implicit attitude of college students are separated, and the explicit attitude is positive and the implicit attitude is negative.7.The influential factors of College Students’ attitudes to homosexuality are diverse.In general, The explicit attitude and implicit attitude of college students are separated, and the explicit attitude is positive and the implicit attitude is negative.
