With the development of positive psychology, gratitude has become the focus of psychology research. Junior high school is a critical stage of life, the imbalance of the development of physical and mental may lead to junior high school students to experience more stress, anxiety and so on. Training the sense of gratitude of junior school students will help the development of their healthy personality.The research based on results of home and abroad, taking the survey method and experimental method, selected 568 junior high school students from GuangXi as subjects, using “Junior High School Questionnaire Gratitude”, “Chinese Perceived Stress Scale” and “State-Trait Anxiety Inventory” to conduct investigation, exploring the current situation and relationship of gratitude, perceived stress and state anxiety, and then through the comparison of before and after measurement results to assess the effect of gratitude invention, further exploring the effectiveness of interventions of gratitude to improve the gratitude's level of junior high school students and the feasibility of relieving state anxiety.The main conclusions of the study as follows:(1)Perceived stress level of junior high school students is upper middle in general, and perceived stress in gender, grade, whether a single child and whether children left behind exist significant differences, there is no significant difference in the home location;(2)Gratitude level of junior high school students is upper middle in general, and gratitude in whether a single child, home location and whether children left behind exist significant difference, there are no significant difference in gender and grade;(3)Most junior high school students experience anxiety, state anxiety in gender, grade, whether a single child and whether left behind children exist significant difference, there is no significant difference in home location;(4)There are significant correlations between any two of gratitude, perceived stress and state anxiety of junior high school;(5)Gratitude of junior high school students has a negative predictive on their state anxiety;(6)Perceived stress of junior high school students has a certain positive effect on state anxiety;(7)Perceived stress plays an intermediary role between gratitude and state anxiety;(8)Gratitude psychological counseling courses and gratitude recording together interventions can effectively improve the level of gratitude of junior high school students, and then alleviate the level of state anxiety of junior high school students.
