In today's society,gratitude is a hot area of positive psychology,it is not only a virtue,but also a positive pro-social emotion and quality.Gratitude refer to a generalized tendency to respond other people's kindness with grateful emotions,and obtaining positive experience in the meanwhile.Former research shows that there is a certain correlation between gratitude and pro-social behavior.Based on the past researches,this study try to investigate a further relationship between gratitude,perceived social support and pro-social behavior,and also try to find out whether the perceived social support is the mediating factor between the gratitude and pro-social behavior.Gratitude as a positive quality potential,is not only a kind of resources,but also a pro-social altruistic behavior,not only conductive to the development of individual virtue,enhance their sence of happiness,but also have important implications for social support.The research of gratitude manly involves the following aspects: the relationship between gratitude and forgiveness,the relationship between gratitude and interpersonal relationship,the relationship between gratitude and pro-social behavior,the relationship between gratitude and health,the relationship between gratitude and subjective well-being,and gratitude intervention.This study adopted the questionnaire method,which taking 245 junior school students as the random samples.In this study we use the difference test,the independent T-test,the ANOVA test,the correlation analysis and the regression analysis to analyze the results.Then the conclusion are as followings:(1)The result of independent sample T-test and single factor variance of gratitude show that junior school students' gratitude have significant differences in gender,girls' gratitude is significantly higher than boys',there is no significant difference between the only child and non-only child and grade.(2)The result of independent sample T-test and single factor variance of gratitude show that junior school students' pro-social behavior have significant differences between the only child and non-only child,only child's pro-social behavior is higher than non-only child,there is no significant difference in grade and gender in pro-social behavior of junior high school students.(3)Through the T-test and single factor analysis of variance,it is concluded that junior high school students have a higher level of perceived social support,and there is no significant difference between junior high school students' perceived social support in gender,only child and non-only child and grade.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between gratitude level and perceived social support,and positive correlation with pro-social behavior.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between perceived social support and pro-social behavior.(6)There is a very significant correlation between junior school students' gratitude,perceived social support and pro-social behavior.(7)Perceived social support is a mediator between gratitude and pro-social behavior.Thus we can draw a conclusion that there is a very significant correlation between junior school students' gratitude,perceived social support and pro-social behavior.Perceived social support is a mediator between gratitude and pro-social behavior.
