Haruki Murakami won the JapaneseNew groupportrait prize withhis first works "Hear the Wind Sing" in 1979.Since then had won the Spanish Catalonia international prize, the Jerusalem Prize, Andersen prize for literature and a number of awards. And was nominated for Nobel Prize in Literature for many times.HarukiMurakami's literature is deeply influenced by American literature, especially the writer Fitzgerald.HarukiMurakami's choice of the theme,content andwriting style are similar to Fitzgerald's. On the other hand, the creation intention, the article structure, the characters, the gist of the story and other aspects ofHarukiMurakami's literary works under the influence of Lu Xun's literature. Reading all Murakami's works we can find that“The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle”published in 1995 as a turning point of Murakami's literature.Since then Murakami's literature has changed from literary style in supreme to story in supreme.And Murakami has changed from a writer with some petty bourgeoisie sentiments to a writerwith sense of social responsibility.“The boat to China”is the one withmost personal color or "private nature" of Haruki Murakami's works. It is also his first works to focus on the description of Chinese elements, the first works implying his long lasting interest of China. As a child, Murakami has interacted with Chineseand has deepen his understanding of China, the war of aggression against China though literary works. These made him with Chinese elements. The inheritance of elder generation's memory of the war of aggression against Chinamake him want to really understand the history, whichJapanese tried to cover up. On the other hand, Lu Xun's "Fujino" also has a very important influence on the birth of The boat to China. This influence combined with Haruki's Chinese complex and the inheritance of the elder generation's memory, so that he had the motive of writing this article.Haruki Murakami created the Chinese teacher, female college student, high school studentthese three characters, and gave them a rich symbolic meaning. Optimistic and hopefulChinese teacher, silent and drivenfemale college student,tiredhigh school student.the leading character "I" feel the intimacy of the three Chinese, but give a wound to them to some extint. Through the specifically description of the three Chinese character, the author express the sense of guilt, intimacy and the sense of distance these complex feelings to Chinese people. These feelings in“The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle”has further sublimated into the sense of guilt and the introspectionof the war.
