A Comparative Study Of Uyghur And Kirghiz Fairy Tales

In the process of human cultural exchange, folk stories are constantly spread, so it has become an important part of the national folk stories, and reflected the unique characteristics, so it has spread worldwidely. These folk stories have become an integral part of the national cultures under the influence of ideas, the production of daily life in the national culture soil.Turkic ethnic folk literature has varying degrees of similarity in the history of the social basis, contents and forms. Uighur and Kirghiz folk stories, especially Fairy Tales, have played an important role in their folk literature.They have a lot of similarities, but also have their own uniqueness.In this paper, we compared the folk magic stories of Uyghur and Kirghiz with the AT classification system of comparative story in historic-geographic method, including the types and motifs of them, then the similarities and differences of them were analyzed.The body part of this paper consists of introduction, text and conclusion.In the introduction, it described the purpose and significance of the topic, as well as the subject at home and abroad research status and the research methods used in this paper.This paper included three chapters:The first chapter dealt with the comparative study of stories and all kinds of theories, and explained the definition of motif and type of story, and then Uyghur and Kirghiz folk magic story classifications and other issues were discussed.The second chapter listed basic types of Uyghur and Kirghiz folk magic stories, and compared them to identify and explain similarities and differences between them.In chapter three, the motifs of the Uyghur and Kirghiz folk magic stories were made a clear explanation, and the two were compared to identify the similarities and differences.The conclusion part analyzed and summarized the general content of the thesis, the historical origin, the common content, and the similarities and differences in the plot, image and other aspects of the two ethnic folk magic stories.
