With the New Media Technology keeping blossom,"micro" things have been spread into every nook and corner,and the definition of micro-image is more generalized than it of micro-movie.The micro-image is explained as a kind of inter-lingual and cross-cultural communication,which is original,entertainment,and popularity,by XMOV World Festival.The entertainment character of art has always been irreplaceable and important one of its value and functions.Usually,it is the entertainment and spiritual happiness function of art which makes people be willing to play a role in art activities.Micro-image precisely with this function shows an amuse tendency.This tendency usually depends on a set of complicated mechanism of entertainment mental and social structure,and influenced by the environment established by the past and the present,the east and the west,the elite and the public,sensibility and rationality.In the contemporary context of mass culture,the entertainment function of art has been prominent unprecedented.And the natural highlighting of entertainment is full of practical rationality and positive significance.In addition,we must be clear,in the shadow of hedonism consumption,the entertainment character of art spreads through all the crowds,but the unchained sensory entertainment is facing a falling into the paradox of "vulgar" or " kitsch".With the discussion of the popular culture,entertainment culture and the study from the sociology view,this paper is made to study the amuse tendency of micro-image,seeking the law of the trend and the influence made by the trend on media art,then intending to find the corresponding point between the entertainment and the artistry of micro-image,explaining the interaction of micro-image's entertainment character and the role of communication language.
